Sunday, April 30th, 2 p.m.
Attend this program for a view of both the known and forgotten Phillies' past. Travel from the 1880's through the 1970's with a focus on the franchise's colorful events, ballparks, and personalities. Speaker John Schmoyer is a lifelong Phillies fan currently living in Lancaster County. Registration is required; click here to register online.

SITS2017 Science in the Summer
Science in the Summer is a fun and free science education program sponsored by GSK and administered by The Franklin Institute, which introduces students to the wonderful and fascinating world of science. This year's theme will be Sports Science! Classes are small with 16 students each, so be sure to register early. The Easttown Library class dates will be July 17th - 20th, and registration will be May 2nd at 12 p.m.

Science in the Summer Registration Details

Easttown Library is Looking for Teen Volunteers for the Summer!
We are looking for enthusiastic library users who enjoy working with young children and are willing to help out in the Youth Services Department. Volunteers must be able to commit to scheduled times during the eight weeks of summer reading (June 19th - August 18th). All returning volunteers (up to the age of 17) and students entering 9th -12th grades are welcome. If you are interested in volunteering this summer, you must attend one of our orientation sessions:

  • Friday, May 19th at 4 p.m.
  • Tuesday, May 23rd at 6 p.m.
  • Thursday, May 25th at 5 p.m.

Easttown Library Now has Museum Passes & Hotspots!
Easttown Library now offers museum passes and mobile hotspots for check-out. Museum passes and hotspots can be reserved online through our website up to 60 days in advance. They must be picked up and dropped off at the Easttown Library circulation desk. Rental fees apply when checking out hotspots. Click here to reserve a hotspot or museum pass today.

Join the Friends for a weekend of "antiquing" activities! Friday, May 19th, Amy Parenti of Freeman's Philadelphia, will be the featured speaker for the kick-off Champagne and Dessert reception.
