Outreach Services for the Homebound and Disabled
The Chester County Library System offers mail order delivery (MOD) and the newspaper on audio cassette. Click here to see the Quick Information Sheet about these services. Click here to see the MOD packet with the Patron Profile Form and Request Form. Services are available free of charge.
The Library for the Blind and Physically Handicapped, through the Free Library of Philadelphia, also provides free books and magazines in alternate formats, such as braille, large print, and cassette books. Click here to find out more and to access an application.
Black & White and Color Copier
Available for public use. Black and white copies cost $0.10, and color copies $0.25. Includes document feed and double-sided copying. Sizes: letter and legal.
Exam Proctoring Service
Exams will be proctored by appointment only. Arrangements (i.e., date, time and proctor) must be scheduled in advance of the exam date. Library staff is not responsible for taking an exam to the Post Office or other carrier to meet a mailing deadline. Photo identification is required. Exams may be proctored 10:00 a.m.-8:00 p.m. Monday-Thursday and 10:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. on Friday. All exams must be completed during these hours. On weekends, it may be possible to have an exam proctored by special arrangement.
Fax Service
The Easttown Library's fax number is 610-251-9739.
United States: $2 for the first page and $1 for additional pages.
International: $3 for the first page and $2 for additional pages.
To receive a fax, the fee is $1.00 for the first page, and $0.25 for additional pages.
Flags for Disposal
Please deposit your flags in the marked can in the entranceway to the Library and we will arrange for proper disposal.
Old Cell Phones and Cell Phone Batteries are collected at Easttown Library through the Call2Recycle program. For a complete list of materials accepted, click here. The collection box is located by the standing catalogs.

Printer Cartridges

Easttown Library recycles all print cartridges through Staples stores. There is a collection bin near the standing catalogs. Staples - will accept hp and lexmark printer cartridges and will give $3.00 credit for each cartridge on a future purchase; limit 3 per purchase per customer, maximum 10 per month. |
